Archbishop of Syra and Tenos

Alexander Lycurgos [Alexandros Lykourgos], the Archbishop of Syra and Tenos in the Greek Orthodox Church, visited England in 1869-1870. During his visit he was given the honorary degree of D.D. at Oxford and was present at the consecration of two Anglican bishops.
