Captain H. R. Hardinge

Hart's Army List (1863) lists Herbert Richard Hardinge as a Lieutenant in The 32nd (The Cornwall) Regiment of Foot (Light Infantry).

Herbert Richard Hardinge was born on 14 May 1840, the son of Major-General Richard Hardinge and Caroline Johnson née Callander. On 1 October 1884, he married Margaret Emilia Bruce, daughter of William Adair Bruce.

Herbert Richard Hardinge died on 7 April 1917 at the age of 76.
