Sushki vendor

According to an inked inscription on the album page, the boy is a ‘Seller of “Cringles” i.e. Ring-shaped Cakes.'

Sushki are a traditional Eastern European pastry. Small, crunchy, slightly sweet bread rings, they are usually eaten with tea or coffee.
