Margaret Longmire, aged 104

A carte-de-visite portrait of Margaret Longmire that claims to show Troutbeck's oldest denizen at the age of 104 ['in her 105th year']. However, this is a slightly earlier portrait of 'Auld Peggy' that the enterprising photographer has simply reused with an updated caption printed in the lower margin. Her clothes, the backdrop and the chair make it clear that this portrait was taken on the same occasion as that previously used on another carte which showed her at the age of 102.
