A carte-de-visite portrait of the bullfighter Francisco Arjona Herrera (1818-1868), known as Cúchares and as Curro Cúchares.
He died of yellow fever in Havana on 4 December 1868. He was originally buried there but in 1885 his remains were translated to Seville in Spain and he was reburied in the church of San Bernardo.
