Prince Emich of Leiningen

Born at Osborne House, Prince Emich of Leiningen (1866-1939) was the second child and only son of Ernst Leopold, 4th Prince of Leiningen and his wife, Marie of Baden. His paternal grandfather was Queen Victoria’s half-brother.

In 1894 Emich married Princess Feodore of Hohenlohe-Langenburg (1866–1932). The couple had four children.

At the death of his father in 1904 Emich became 5th Prince of Leiningen. He died on 18 July 1939.
