Captain Hallowes, Mr Thomas and Indians

An inscription on the album page identifies the sitters as 'Capt. Hallowes, Mr Thomas and two Indians.' Captain Henry Jardine Hallowes served in Canada during the 1860s with the 15th Regiment of Foot.

From an album compiled in Canada and Scotland by Lieutenant Robert Hill Wyllie of the 15th Foot and of Bolfracks House, Aberfeldy, Perthshire.
