The grave of Catherine Plumer (née Poirot) who apparently was 'born for business'. By the age of 19 she was running her own drapery shop to which she soon after added several branches. The gravestone goes on to recount how she worked night and day to acquire by her conduct the esteem and confidence of all the world. She died on 6 June 1822, aged 60.
