Colonel Higginson and family

On 29 July 1858 Colonel George Wentworth Alexander Higginson (21 June 1826-1 February 1927) married the Honourable Florence Virginia Fox Fitzpatrick, daughter of 1st Baron Castletown. Their first child, Francis George Higginson, was born on 6 May 1859.

They appear on the 1861 census, living at 26 Norfolk Street [Westminster, Brook ward]. Also present on the night of the census were 6 servants, including a butler and a footman.
