Duke of Atholl

A carte-de-visite portrait of the Duke of Atholl (1814-1864).

George Augustus Frederick John Murray, 6th Duke of Atholl (1814-1864), was the son of 1st Lord Glenlyon. In 1839 he married Anne Home Drummond (1814-1897), Mistress of the Robes to Queen Victoria.

His residences were St George's Hotel, Albermarle Street, London, and Blair Atholl House and Dunkeld in Perthshire.
