Mrs Audrey de Vere Beauclerk

Identified on the album page as ‘Mrs A. de Vere Beauclerk’, this is probably the wife of Audrey de Vere Beauclerk (1837-1919). Born Evelyn Georgina Matilda Fitzroy in 1841, she was the daughter of Henry Fitzroy and Jane Elizabeth née Beauclerk. On 1 December 1858 she married Audrey de Vere Beauclerk, son of Aubrey William de Vere Beauclerk. The couple had one son, Sidney, born in 1866. They were divorced in 1895.

She married, secondly, on 16 December 1895, George Simon Arthur Watson-Taylor. She died on 10 January 1931.

From an album probably compiled by either George Charles Pratt (1799-1866), 2nd Marquess Camden or by his son, John Charles Pratt (1840-1872), from 1866 3rd Marquess Camden.
