Adelina Patti

A carte-de-visite portrait of the great Italian soprano Adelina Patti dressed as 'Adina' in a production of Donizetti's L'Elisir d'amore [The Elixer of Love]. First performed in 1832, it remains one of the most performed of all Donizetti's operas.
