Julius and Ludwig

There’s an inked inscription on the reverse of the mount but it’s written in German using the Gothic alphabet and is difficult to decipher. I can make out ‘ für Erinnerung’ [English: ‘as a souvenir’]. The two men have also signed the mount. The location was Baden and the date was October 1901.
