Marquess of Bowmont, later Duke of Roxburghe

A carte-de-visite portrait of James Henry Robert Innes-Ker (1839-1892), Marquess of Bowmont, later 7th Duke of Roxburghe (succeeded 1879).

Born 5 September 1839, he married Lady Anne Emily Spencer-Churchill, daughter of Sir John Winston Spencer-Churchill, 7th Duke of Marlborough. He died on 23 October 1892 at the age of 53.

[The eldest son of the Duke of Roxburghe bears the courtesy title of Marquess of Bowmont and Cessford.]
