Six women in a boat

A cabinet card portrait showing six women in a fake rowing boat mocked up in the photographer's studio to look as if they're out on the sea. The backdrop depicts 'The Tower of Refuge' on St Mary's Isle in Douglas, a well known tourist attraction in the area.

An inked inscription verso in a period hand gives the date, July 1895.
