Three Welsh women at Llanberis

One half of a stereoview showing three Welsh women in the traditional costume of their region. A printed caption in the lower margin gives the photograph's title: 'Group of Three Welsh Peasants'.

Although the photographer is unidentified on the stereoview, I have the same image in carte-de-visite format (with the same number and title) and the photographer is identified as Francis Bedford. An inked inscription on the reverse of the carte gives a date, 11 September 1863, which is presumably when it was purchased.
