Francis Charles Needham (1842-1915) held the courtesy title of Viscount Newry from 1851 to 1880, the year in which he succeeded his grandfather and became 3rd Earl of Kilmorey. As this was an Irish peerage, it did not automatically entitle him to a seat in the House of Lords. However, the following year he was elected as an Irish Representative Peer and he sat in the House of Lords until his death in 1915.
