William Linnell

A carte-de-visite portrait of the British artist William Linnell (1826-1906). He was the eldest son of the landscape painter and water-colourist John Linnell, and brother of James Thomas Linnell, also a landscape painter. He exhibited landscapes and rustic scenes at the Royal Academy from 1851 to 1891.
